Delivery Methodology & Criteria
Whether opting for a Virtual Session or a Face-to-Face session initially, our structured approach at GMLS ensures an optimal learning experience. Subsequently, every two weeks, a Webinar session will be conducted. To facilitate your preparation and planning, an updated planner calendar will be dispatched every three months.
Access to the GMLS learner management system will be granted, where comprehensive material for all seven modules, including previous dissertations for additional reference, and recordings of conducted webinars will be made available. Each learner will receive a course set-work book titled 'Managing Logistics and Supply Chain Challenges,' authored by the Singapore Logistics Association.
Successful completion of the FIATA Higher Diploma in Supply Chain entails submitting and passing an internal GMLS dissertation, along with a dissertation of approximately 6000 words, with the specific topic possibly provided by GMLS and NLA. Any additional requirements communicated by FIATA will also need to be fulfilled.
Upon meeting all minimum requirements, the candidate's full compliance criteria will be submitted to NLA. NLA, in turn, will liaise with FIATA Headquarters in Zurich to apply for the International Diploma, which will be issued electronically.
Our GMLS roll-out program ensures a robust training experience, offering students a minimum of 195 contact hours. Success in this program hinges on self-study discipline and motivation, with a recommended commitment of 6–10 hours of online engagement per week.
Towards the conclusion of the course, revision classes may be organized, potentially on a weekly basis, contingent on the preferences of the majority of the group. Flexibility is paramount, and adjustments will be made accordingly to meet the collective needs of the participants.
